Sharon's News, What's the latest?

15 Sep
I've been so busy with the women, I've been neglecting my own page.

We have a release date for Callie's story. Oct. 26th. Excited doesn't begin to cover what I am at this point. I have about 45 blogs that have agreed to host me for a blog tour. Lots of articles, questions and giveways. Please come back during Oct 22-Nov.17 for a list and dates.

Terri is complete as well. I got the release date for her last night. 12 April. So much is happening, I can hardly keep up!

Pam's story sit at almost 71000 words. 75000 is the goal and my personal goal is to have her complete and in my agent's hand by Christmas. I still appreciate your prayers for words, wisdom and direction.

Thanks!!

13 April:
The editing continues. I got the final round of edits, minor stuff at this point today. Hopefully the release date can't be too far behind.
But the BIG news, the Happy dance news...I got Terri's cover and I want to share. Isn't she beautiful!! Hint--Could that be our mystery man in the background?

OK, I finished the second Round of Edits on Callie's story. She is off to the editor once again. I think the only round left will be galley proofs. My final time to read and suggest any last minute changes. Please pray that we receie a release date soon, My nails are nubs in anticipation.

I sent the polished version of Terri's story in this week as well. Editing rounds to follow.

I've started revisions and re-writing on Pam's story. Please say a prayer for her speedy recovery.

I just got my cover art. There are no words to express how I'm feeling right now.

I've received the final blurb for Callie's story. I have to admit I cried when I saw it. I've been given permission to share, so here it is.
Three dire circumstances. Three desperate prayers. One miracle to save them all.

Callie Stillman is drawn to the evasive girl who’s befriended her granddaughter, but the last time Callie tried to help a child, her efforts backfired. Memories of the tiny coffin still haunt her.

Samantha and Iris Evans should be worried about homework, not whether they can pool enough cash to survive another week of caring for an infant while evading the authorities.

Steve Evans wants a second chance at fatherhood, but his children are missing.  And no one seems to want to help the former addict who deserted his family.

For Steve to regain the relationship he abandoned, for his girls to receive the care they deserve, Callie must surrender her fear and rely on God to work the miracle they all need.

  1. Waiting is the hardest thing for this writer too, Sharon! All the very best as you wait. I find it so very hard to start another writing project during that waiting too.
